• Implemented the backend service and wrote 8 CRUD endpoints for a no-code, drag-n-drop platform within the Alteryx Analytics Cloud.

• Built an internal UI using React and AWS to automate the daily validation of NAV's, eliminating 2+ hours of manual processing per week
• Equipped tool with an edit history feature visible to authorized finance managers, improving data lineage traceability by up to 100%
• Integrated Bain's Okta and AWS accounts for API authorization

GlobalIDs is an enterprise data management firm that designs automation software to help companies organize their data ecosystems, with clients including Fortune 500 companies.

Dates: July 2020 - May 2021

Role: Data Science Intern

Accomplishents and Responsibilities:

• Managed a team of 6 interns that researched and tested NLP techniques to perform data health checks for Fortune 500 corporate databases
• Deployed a tokenization feature that auto-flags misclassified values in columns, improving data quality by up to 10%

• Replaced 5+ Excel macros with a streamlined desktop GUI application using Python
• Changed over 50% of company data analysis language from VBA to Python within 5 months
• Deployed application to every test engineer’s desktop to create a company-wide data analytics "hub"

Sustainable Princeton

Sustainable Princeton is is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to lead community change to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen climate resilience in Princeton, NJ.

Dates: April 2019 - July 2019

Role: Data Analyst

Accomplishents and Responsibilities:

• Built calculators in Excel that estimated transportation emissions comprised 30% of total emissions as of 2018
• Quantified the emissions benefit for various commuter incentive programs at 1062 metric tons of CO2
• Included my figures in the 30-year Climate Action Plan, enacted by the municipality in July 2019

Maze Generator and Solver

Java project that generates and animates a perfect maze using Kruskal's algorithm (finds a minimum spanning forest of an undirected edge-weighted graph). Animates auto-solving of the maze using Depth-first or Bread-first choice depending on key press. Also supports manual traversal of the maze. Github repo is private per Northeastern policy.

Flood-it

Java project for Flood-it gameplay. Flood-it is a game in which you have to flood the whole game board with one color in less than the allowed steps. A web-based gameplay is available at https://unixpapa.com/floodit/. Github repo is private per Northeastern policy.

Tetris

I'm sure you have heard of this game. A partner and I wrote a program to play Tetris in Racket. Github repo is private per Northeastern policy.

Fantasy Football App

Tekkaz is a new standard of fantasy Premier League. We beleive the FPL points earning system is too rigid and overly rewarding of statistics over performance. The mission of Tekkaz is to revamp that system, along with several other features such as a points-based draft system as opposed to budget-based. Planning release for the 2023-2024 season.

Which country produces the best passers?

Objective: Build a metric for evaluating the probability of successful passes based on their starting location on the pitch.

Purpose: To see if the best passers tend to come from the same country/league.

Type of Model: Logistic Regression

Libraries Used: sklearn, pandas, FCPython (for plotting), numpy

Data: Wyscout data from top 5 European leagues 2017-2018.

Results: In Progress

Linear Regression

Question: In Euro 2020, which single match statistic (e.g. possession) best predicted the winner of games?

Purpose: Show which match statistics were statistically most correlated with winning.

Type of Model: Linear Regression

Libraries Used: SciPy, pandas, matplotlib, numpy

Data: I personally collected and cleaned this data. I shared it on kaggle here.

Results: Shots on target was most correlated with winning. I wrote a Medium article about this project here.

Visualization: England's Euro 2020 Journey

Question: How did England attack through solo drives and deliveries into the final third in Euro 2020?

Purpose: To make a visualization displaying a key performance indicator during England's road to the Euro 2020 final.

Libraries Used: matplotlib

Data: Acquired from UEFA.

Webscraper

Question: How can I collect my "own" football data without manually recording statistics?

Purpose: Automate the data collection process for myself and hopefully help others.

Libraries Used: Selenium, pandas

Results: Functioning web scraper for Premier League season 2021-2022 based off FotMob.

Princeton Climate Action Plan

Question: What are Princeton's GHG emissions comprised of, and what should we target to improve?

My Role: To quantify transportation emissions reduction potential for a commuter incentives program and shared bike infrastructure.

Model: Based my calculations off of data from Princeton University's commuter incentives program.

Tools: Excel, surveying

Data: Mix of commuter data by transportation preference, business size logs, maps, inventory data.

Results: Found that 30% of total emissions as of 2018 in Princeton came from transportation. Also estimated that 1062 metric tons of CO2 could be reduced through a shared bike infrastructure.

Leather Travel Wallet

Purpose: Was looking for a fun project to do with my hands at the start of the pandemic.

Result: Crafted a hand-made, hand-stitched leather passport wallet with two card pockets and 2 main pockets. Also learned to be more patient in general.

Rome, Italy

In July 2021, I studied Roman Archeology in the heart of Rome, Italy.

Singapore

In July 2020, I was accepted to attend the Global Summer Programme at Singapore Management University. Unfortunately, the program was canceled due to COVID-19. Singapore is an incredible location and I hope to get to there soon.

Lyon, France

In July 2019, I attended an intensive 5-week French Language institute hosted by the Catholic University of Lyon (UCLY). I was awarded a CEFRL level B2 certificate (fluent) for French.

French: Advanced

Studied French for 8 years and did a study abroad in Lyon, France in 2019 where I obtained a CEFRL B2 certificate.

German: Conversational

Self-taught German beginning in 2017. Try and talk to random Germans whenever I can to stay sharp.

Japanese: Novice

Starting self-teaching in 2020. It's remarkable how much of Japanese culture is infused with the language itself.

Spanish: Novice

Self-taught during pandemic after watching La Casa de Papel.
